15 Saurus painted… about time…

So in the desire to paint in large blocks, last week I decided to try my hand at painting 15 at once.  It sucked.  Overall I think I produced the finished product faster, but it wasn’t more fun.  Each detail seemed to take forever (like painting the bone spikes on thier back)

I think keeping it to 5 at a time is the way to go.

A pain in the ass it may have been, but look at the sweet results! I find it mentally impossible to do more than 5 minis at a time, it just becomes mind numbing. Kudos on a job well done, and your perseverence! At least you gave the paint-a-whole-unit-at-one-time a shot.

Yeah, it completely had the suck… Last night I sat down with 5 Imperial Guardsmen and I’ll easily finish up tonight…. I think it’s the repetition that got to me… Painting 5 sets of teeth is one thing… but having to replicate each detail 15x made it a chore… but once I got into it.. I just couldn’t push it aside…
